I agree; the problem is that his presidential cohort is unqualified and made of far inferior "stuff" than he is. He said so himself. :nope:

they both won. everyone could see a push coming from a mile away.

obama has a big lead so biden kept it close to the vest and expectations for palin were so low after the couric interview that there was no way she was going to do poorly.

the format was tailor made for both of them too. maybe thats the only way theyd agree to it. although there was more interaction between them than i thought there would be. im sure the obama camp was scared to death that Joe was gonna call her "Missy" and even moreso the McCain camp was scared that Sarah would be stumped or bumble through questions. this format let Joe avoid her as much as he wanted and let Sarah avoid questions she didnt like.

the GOP sure put scare into Iffill because she turned from a hard-nosed reporter to a wet noodle by not calling Palin on refusal to answer questions.

she sure looked prettier than ive seen her before

Obama's not unqualified obviously, and even if made of lesser timber, he has picked a VP that compliments that well.

My biggest apprehension about an incoming executive is the kind of people he appoint to the high offices. Experienced professionals and experts in their fields . . . or ideological sycophants? I like Obama's first choice far better than I like McCain's. His doesn't bode well at all.

The mainstream media's editing made her look a lot worse in the interviews than she actually was.

We couldn't be further apart on this issue

    Agree

As a Christian, I support Palin's views on all issues. The majority of Americans probably do as well.

This bothered me as well. I understand Iful was highly constrained by the rules they finally agreed on. Palin twice answered some other question instead of the one asked. She didn't have a card for it.

So you bought into that nonsense as well. Blame the media huh. An answer is answer the ones she gave.

OK, so what disqualify's Obama. Be specific.

Well, you're probably dreaming again. If someone's Christian ideals on abortion and gays is your major criteria for electing The President of the United States of America . . . I'm simply appalled.

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

Some will come to the defense of the media because it benefits their party/candidate.

What's sad is some people actually believe that the media is not biased. Those people scare me because we give them a driver's license and let them vote. Too bad there's not an IQ test required to do either.
