is it really? ask a hindu. so you know how much each animal suffers so we can wear our fancy clothes or shoes or fur coat? probably not nor do you really care. You care about dogs b/c you're emotionally involved. we pick and choose. plenty animals suffer for long periods of time from the time to the slaughter til its actually performed. plenty of well-documented cases although due to regulations its not as common as it once was but make no mistake it happens daily. just because one animal suffers less doesnt make either situation better or more right. like i said, its simply perspective. about getting an education, that isnt the point. the point being its a way of life for some the same way someone raises any animal for slaughter. its their means and a way of life regardless how despicable we see it. just like cockfighting has been legal in louisiana since the beginning of time til this year, others see dogs as a commodity. Havent seen much outcry for these poor chickens and thats because we dont really care about em unless its time for dinner.
who gives a phuck about the mistreatment of chickens or cows? not me or 99% of us citizens... vick and friends are accused of electrocuting, drowning and whatever else to man's best friend. My best friend is my 8 y/o lab... we don't live in a country where a cow is man's best friend....
I've yet to see betsy the cow or frank the chicken die for their owner after an intruder breaks into the house.... If you happen to live in indonesia and worship chickens, i'm happy for you.....
Are you part of the blame America first crowd? Are Americans big and bad because we wear clothes and eat animals?:dis: Are the eskimos and Indians as guilty as us for eating and wearing animals? Can you write your posts in this thread over so I can re-read them once again and try to understand which area code you are coming from? Is it ok if Russa, China, North Korea and Iran does it? Are you a liberal and do you have guilty feelings about the way we live?:hihi: Do you worship pro athletes?
I am holding cow fights at my house this weekend. Bring your toughest bovine if you are man enough!!!! Although, I must admit, the last time we had a fight the cows just kind of stood around for about 8 hours and pooped all over the yard.
