Its offically down to LSU and Florida for Toliver. I also read that McKnight is planning on scheduling two official visits. I really hope he picks LSU, for some reason Ive thought all along that he will end up out of state.
One major factor will be Toliver's chance to play right away as a true freshman. If he believes in his abilities, I gotta think LSU is the right choice for him.
Agreed. USC lost to two unranked teams! Maybe Pete Carroll looked good with Lienart, Bush, White, and receivers, but this year he has looked pretty mediocre to me. I'd rather play for Les Miles and the Tigers. At least when we lost, the teams were ranked in the top 5 in the nation, they really had great talent. Les and the Tigers get my vote!
Phelon Jones is coming tonight. He should have an offer soon. Said he will prob. go here if not Florida. Miami is now out.
Awesome news! I hope we get Jones. From what Ive read he is an exceptional athlete. Plus he could play corner. Im pretty confident that Toliver will pick LSU.
I just read on rivals that Tressell just made a final in home visit with Barksdale. He says that it helps their chances. Im wondering how hard LSU was recruiting him? I would have been really trying for this kid, you cant teach his size and strength.
Scout.com now lists Davis as high interest for FSU. Bowden has really been after Louisiana kids this year.
