I'll gladly sit in the end zone if it means free lap dances.

I've never been to V-H Stadium but I have been to a couple of LSU-Ole Miss games in Jackson Memorial and from the picture V-H looks a lot better than Jackson Memorial. In high school we played a lot of our games in Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge and Jackson Memorial just looks like a bigger version of it.

Stadium is not that bad... nothing compared to Tiger Stadium though. I will be sitting in the endzone(North) right between the goalposts... in the Ole Miss section cheering loud and proud in the midst of 'em. The anticipation is killing me. Their fans will be keyed up and loud b/c they haven't had a season like this in a long time, but I bet we could outcheer 'em. Geaux Tigers!!!

After looking at those pics I can see why Ole Miss fans are so impressed with Independence Stadium. They would probably regard the Cotton Bowl as highly as many would regard Wrigley Field !!

Alright, alright. Now being an Ole Miss fan, and having a miserable life as a result, I can assure you all that many of you hit the nail squarely on the head about our stadium, our fans and the state of Mississippi.
Yes, Vaught-Hemingway holds about the total population of Mississippi, around 62,000. And yes, we hardly ever fill it up. Thanks to the many LSU fans who will drive to Oxford, and consequently 150 years backward into the dirty South, we will sell out this weekend. Our only previous actual sellout this year came against Bama, and thanks to those toothless and inbred winos from Tuscalooser, we filled our meazley little stadium up.
Yes, it has recently undergone an expansion by 12,000 seats and a new luxury box area for fatcats who don't come to the games. Prior to the expansion, we had trouble getting 50,000 to show up. Why we expanded, I don't know. I guess keeping up with Arkansas and Southern Miss, although we don't play the latter anymore.
Yes, Mississippi is a weak state and we are all poor that is why many Rebel fans are selling their tickets this weekend for a 3000% profit. Hey, they can live off that profit all year long in Mississippi. But, the thing about it, LSU fans are stupid enough to pay that much!

One intangible which I'm sure many of you are aware of, if LSU gets a lead quickly, there won't be any homefan crowd noise. If LSU holds a commanding lead by halftime, then expect most of the hometown fans to leave for the Grove and continue the party and our favorite battle cry "wait until next year....er...uh..the next Manning." After all, while we don't win many games, we haven't ever lost a party.

Cheers to ya Tigahz and take it easy on us. Keep it respectable, no more than a 50 point win, please!

And good luck with your rematch with Georgia!

Garbage College FB stadium ... Love those visitors' bleachers.
Especially, love standing under them waiting for a soda with all
the overhead trash and spilled drinks dripping on the visitors.
It's a joke trying to get out or move at all with so few exits.
The dumb rednecks never heard about fire codes or laws to protect human life. I never sit in the BLEACHERS anymore.
    A FUN TIME
Put a red sweater on (i also wear blue jeans) and in your most redneck accent, buy the largest block of tickets you can get in the Ole Miss section. My record is 9 tickets together. The fun part. Make friends with the craziest, loudest, most liqoured up Tiger fans you can find near the BLEACHERS and sell them the tickets. Take your "TEAM OF ROWDIES" in the heart of the Ole Pi$$ sections and raise hell and have a good time ... too much fun.

I will be there. Saw the photo of the stadium. Wow, does anyone know why they don't paint the lines, endzone, numbers etc. on the field ? How can you tell when someone makes a first down, touchdown etc. ? I've never seen anything like that . Is it some sort of home field advantage thing ? Oh those Rebels, they are a clever bunch ! (Not really)
