    Different calibers, barrel length, load behind projectile determine muzzle velocity. Any man with testosterone and a propensity for manly activities could find a half dozen with more muzzle velocity.
    A former favorite firearm of mine was a .58 caliber Hawkins muzzle loader. Beautiful gun, the ammo ball literally weighed around an oz. Devastating what that thing would do with 110 grain load

    i have a Marlin .45-.70 guide gun. Best brush gun ive ever touched. Perfect for inside 150ish.

    I don't know much about guns; isn't velocity determined by the round, rather than the gun itself?
