Well, in their defense there is only about 5 or 6 black head coaches in all of college football. I think the only requirement to get in is that you have to be asked.
I think the BCA game is played on a nuetral site, not sure about next year's game though. SC keeps saying that they will play anyone, anywhere, anytime . . . but for some reason they will not play Miami, LSU, or Okla unless we first play them at SC (without a contract for a 2nd game). What gives? Why are they outraged no one will play them? And how on earth did they get Vtech to agree, when they owe us one? Vtech shouldn't be allowed to schedule another ranked OOC game, until they give us our home game. Richdog has a good idea, it should be ND and Miss St in the BCA. Both are strong Div 1A programs with black coaches, even though both are in down years it would be a good match up.
Time to move on guys VTech didn't want to live up to their end of the bargain. I don't look for them to play here in a couple years. They will just buy their way out of the contract. Look where they are and then look where we are. I could give a rat's ass who they play. I would say I hope we see them in a bowl game but I think both programs are headed in a different directions.
We went up to Blacksburg for them (and I had to sit through the game in the middle of thousands of drunk Hokies), then they should come down to Baton Rouge and take their ass whipping like men.
Maybe assistant coaches can be in the Black Coaches Association too. Most D1A teams have a few black assistants.
