So since July 4th 1776 till May 26, 2022 American citizens have been breaking the law? So right after the the constitution was signed did the government round up the colonists guns?

Nope. An individual state can grant a right for an individual to possess guns, and certainly did, but that has little to do with the Second Amendment. Madison's only reason for including the Second Amendment was because some states were afraid that Congress could call up a standing army against them, and thus a need for armed state militias. He included the Second Amendment in order to appease those states and to get the Constitution ratified.

You didn't, which is your MO, answer my question. You really must think everyone is stupid. The 2nd Amendment is not a state right it's a personal right your feaking idiot. So if a state wanted to limit free speech could they?

You must be clinically stupid there is no other explanation. So the 2nd Amendment is a state right or a personal right? Is the 1st amendment a state right or a personal right?

The Second Amendment is the right of the people to bear arms as part of well-regulated state militias, not as individual self-defense.

Once again in your view American citizens have been breaking the law since July 4th 1776? They had no right to own a gun? The pioneers that headed West were all armed and were breaking the law? The settlers out in the plains and the mountains in the 1800's were breaking the law by owning their own guns?

Folks please help me. Am I not wording my questions right? Is Rex a bot? I am starting to believe that. Is there another way to ask Rex a question?

He cherry picks the questions he answers. When you hit him up with a question he doesn't like or can't answer, he ignores it.

Rex is a one trick pony with no thoughts of his own. Rex is all about the D. Whatever the D says is whatever Rex says. If the D tells him to do something, he does it. He’ll do and say anything for that D. He yearns for it. He’s trying to say that because individuals aren’t considered militias because they aren’t called militias. But I argue that everyone inside the state that is armed IS the militia. But, I’m not possessed by pleasing the D
