no. specialization is good. teachers teach, gun-toting defenders defend. hire two armed guys per school, and they train regularly for gun skills, accuracy, as well as how to direct people during an emergency. this is all they do. defend the school. they have pistol and they carry a small rifle, perhaps an ar-15 SBR. they defend the school, watch the exists, say hello to kids and direct em to the correct school bus and shit. school safety officers. and let the teachers teach. pistol skills are not easy and the average teacher would be shit at it.
