Regardless of what RP does, SS will find a QB or 2 to fit his scheme. The best thing is.....there's a new Sheriff to be reckoned with in the SEC east. I love it. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: hihi:
And for the zillionth time, I'll reply: If the kid can't deal w/ the opinion of one anonymous fan on the internet, then how do you think he's going to react to being booed by 92,000 fans the first time he throws three picks in a game? How do you think he's going to react to the not-so-anonymous media that's going to have a microscope up his wazoo, and is going to be far more critical than I could ever be? The SEC is NOT East St. John. It's a cruel world out there. You're actually kind of making my point for me: do we really want a kid, no matter how talented, who has such a large ego that he can't hack a little bit of criticism?
that usually holds water yet not this time so I'll say it for us, WE NEED RP. there, i feel a lot better. and yeah gman, i agree with your assessment yet if he is weighing his options and its a toss-up, even a few negative comments could sway his decision. And yes we want him if comments influence him, he's a kid.
According to a fella that has his own recruiting website (Mike S.) It's not looking good for LSU or any other school for that matter when it comes to RP. He's solid with Texas. Mike spoke to him last night.
we'll see how good he is this w/e when ESJ takes on my alma mater, the undefeated jesuit blue jays. if he can school the blue jays, he may be a prospect.
After seeing some of the scores in the Catholic league this year including the Holy Cross/Jesuit game, I think RP should have no trouble putting points on the board.
By the Friday, Congrats on going undefeated. I'm a Holy Cross guy myself and I found it somewhat ironic that both coaches played the last time the Blue Jays went unbeaten.
WOW - the kid's a stud. check out the quote from jesuit's coach this from the TP this morning: Perrilloux rushed for 220 yards on 28 carries and scored two touchdowns. He also completed 22 of 29 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown. His 10-yard completion to Jamal Breaux on fourth-and-five from the Blue Jays' 11 sealed the victory. "He's unbelievable," Jesuit coach Vic Eumont said of Perrilloux. "I coached against (Philadelphia Eagles quarterback) Donovan McNabb when he was at Syracuse, and Perrilloux's just like him. He's a great player.
I was going to post the same thing Friday. The guy is amazing even though the Jays did a whale of a job keeping them out of the endzone. He average 8 yards a rushing attempt and 9 yards a passing attempt, pretty darn stout.
