Ok, I am so sick of hearing about since USC beat Arkansas, that they deserve to be ranked where they are. LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE PITIFUL TEAMS USC BARELY BEAT OR FLAT OUT LOST TO.
Here is the perfect example of how USC gets preferential treatment by voters no matter how they perform on the field.
In week four of the pollS USC had a record of 2-0 and was ranked 3rd in the nation. THE NEXT 5 WEEKS, USC STRUGGLED AGAINST UNRANKED CREAMPUFFS ARIZONA, WASHINGTON ST., WASHINGTON, ARIZONA ST., AND A LOSS TO OREGON ST!!!! And what is USC now ranked??? 3rd in the nation! Two weeks ago Florida was ranked 3rd. They had ONE CLOSE GAME against South Carolina and they drop to 4th. Of course they fall behind USC even though Florida won that game. So Florida has one game where they struggle to win against a conference opponent and they drop in the rankings. USC has FIVE weeks of bad play, including a loss, and they are now back to #3, ahead of Florida.
The voting process of college football is a joke! If any other team in the nation, (except maybe Notre Dame), would have had the 5 week stretch of mediocre play that USC did, they wouldn't even be considered for the national championship. But somehow USC is now ranked 3rd in the nation, and almost a sure bet to play for the national championship.
Please get a playoff system in college football and get it out of the hands of biased voters!!!!

Why? Are we going to best 2 out of 3 now? Regardless of the outcome, the loser will have lost and I see no need to have them play again to determine which one is the best team. We'll already know that.
