Well you sure read a lot about all of the players(recruits) gettting text messages all day long. That is why I was inquiring.
The NZAA is considering putting limits on text messaging. Right now it is outside the realm of "personal communications".
There are two different periods ... quiet and dead. Phone calls are restricted to 1 per day during the quiet period and are unlimited during the dead period. Text messaging is not considered a phone call. It is like an email or letter.
I don't necessarily see WWL playing this tape all the time, mainly because it could make Reggie look bad and since he plays for the Saints, I don't think WWL would do that to him.
Good point. Someone needs to get it out there. Worse case scenario, they take Reggie's Heisman away from him. I would hate to see that, but if you do the crime......
I guess this is the national exposure that McKnight wanted when he made his choice to go to USC. The ink isn't even dry on his letter of intent.
disagree. what bama had done was so blatant other schools would have had the closest thing to the death penalty since SMU. they were let off easily given the severity of violations. I dont think Kaare Johnson works for wwl anymore. who the hell spells corey that way anyhow. sick ass parents.
Unfortunately we're talking about the god of college football here. I hate to say it but I don't think anything will come from it more than a slap on the wrist. Boy do I ever hope that I'm wrong. It reminds me so much of the most recent Michael Vick story. A water bottle, with some type of a compartment, with some smelling substance. It smelt like weed, looked like weed, was hidden, but wasn't weed. Hmmm.... congratulations, you just beat the system!
Is it with a K. That's even worse. I think he is involved with station management now. He still does the news from time to time.
