USC probes possible violations - McKnight

    So here's some serious wishful thinking: if all this does come out and USC is busted big time, does Joe McKnight not go to USC since Pete Carroll assured him he could transfer without any problem if USC was disciplined by the NCAA?

    That would be super!

    I wasn't aware of the rinse and repeat. Thanks for that info.

    Seriously though, this can't be swept under the rug. It will get blown up in the media (other than southern California media) big time and it's recorded on TWO different occasions and was CLEARLY stated. There's no mincing words here.

    And just think, ole Reggie got dissed big time by USC at the Rose Bowl and he just might not feel so compelled to lie for his school. We shall see. Just think he could replace his problems with the USC investigation with Joe McKnight's potential recruiting violation taking the forefront. Sounds like a good deal to him.

    I would rather see him at USC, than any other SEC shcool. So I hope he stays in Southern Cal.

    Well I was thinking more along the lines of coming to his second choice, that being LSU.

    During the recruiting process, JM asked PC about the possible fallout from the Reggie Bush scandal. According to JT Curtis, Carroll allegedly told JM that if anything came out of it and USC was indeed penalized, McKnight could transfer from the school with no problem. I can't remember where I read it - it may have been here on Wednesday.

    I tell you one thing, I bet McKnight is already regretting his decision to go to USC based on what is already coming out about the 3 way call. Couple that with Bush and the kid must be wondering why in the hell didn't I just go to LSU where I have a better chance at PT and such as good a chance at an NC and also be a homestate hero.

    Poor kid, petey poisoned him.

    so reggie bush takes 100 grand, and they supposedly have it on tape

    and now this violation

    if it smells like a rat, and it looks like a rat?

    they can only be accused of something so many times before you have to wonder what is going down over there.
