    You're right, he shouldn't be. JM didn't do anything wrong and has now been put under an unbearable spotlight and immense pressure.

    I am far from an expert on NCAA violations and how they are adjudicated. Consider that Deuce McAlister was identified by Ole Miss in a self-reported incident where he simply stood on the sidelines and did little more than shake hands and offer "hellos" to recruits. Violation by today's rules? Yes. A good rule? No. Tamba Hali did more than shake hands with Broderick Green during his official visit to PSU. I don't think they were talking about the latest in knitting trends but that incident isn't being considered by anyone because Penn States program is well, irrelevant today.

    Wait until Florida receives the spotlight. Think they'll come out unscathed?

    No doubt that's the cool part.

    And obviously Petey never told Joe that this was an infraction BEFORE it took place, otherwise Joe would not have blurted it out like he did.

    Pete is clearly implicated in all of this.

    This along with the Bush money thing and no bowl games for USC for at least a couple of years. Sweet.
