USA Tpday Poll Out....LSU #2 But picks up 1st place votes

2 things that puzzled me..
LA Tech TORTURED Hawaii, Fresno St. killed A&M, and both teams move UP the poll... Did those guys even watch the games??? LA tech only lost because they wanted to pull a boise state and went for the 2 point conversion. Fresno state SHOULD'VE won the game.

 

Hawaii did not move up their at #22 (because Tech only lost because they played to win)

A&M moved up for 2 reasons:
1. Everyone still things Fresno St is the Fresno St of a few years ago.
2. You had 3 teams higher but with in distance of ATM lose.

 

Everyone didn't think Fresno State was any good last year when we beat them (which they weren't and of course, still aren't.)

 

Yeah I know but that was the only explantion I could come up with as to why ATM beating them would cause that big of a move. I could see them jumping 1 spot

 

Interestingly, they stayed at 25 in the AP poll. The first half Aggie team looked like a legit 15-20 team. The second half was more Tulane-like.

 

could it be possible to see a scenario like what happened in '03 between LSU, USC and OK where all three are undefeated this time around and we get an LSU-OK rematch or worse a USC-OK matchup.

 

The only way that becomes a problem for us is if we have to play either SC or Florida in the SECC after beating them during the season
