Ill tell you who is going to beat texas.. Texas Tech.. Texas was ranked #56 is pass defense last year, Texas Tech has what is considered one of the best if not the best secondary in the bigXII... Texas Tech has an improved defense this year and will beat UT in a shootout...

Rice stuns the free world and beats Texas in Austin. Lou Holtz, doing color, says Rice is as fine as any tream in the country. Mac Brown backs up Holtz and pleads case to media for a Rice-Texas rematch in Rose Bowl. Thanks to a computer poll, it happens, even though Texas loses Big XII South title to OU (thus keeping Mac's conference chmpionship record in tact). Sadly for Mac, Rice wins again, running their record to 2-11 and carts off the highly prize People's Choice National Champ Casserole Dish Trophy/ Cookingware. Auburn makes more rings.
I hear Coach Tubberville down in Auburn is declaring every game for the National title this year, so it is possible Auburn can win the championship as many as 9 times this year
