I think they got hit b/c Islamic radicals are (in the words of Martin) mindless savages.

I also think that far right Evangelical Christians are the same thing as the Islamic radicals. Same beliefs, different God.

Actually the Dems and the far left are absolutely outraged by Obama's drone strikes and aggressive policies in the Middle East.

I am sure your numbers are correct but don't trumpet them so much. Drones weren't armed before W and it was an experimental tactic for awhile and the ramp up time to get the drones weapons and "pilots" trained up for the work took time. If you think it such a good strategy and trumpet BHO's use of it give credit to W as without his work BHO wouldn't have had the tool to use.

Same with OBL; Bush set the process in motion that nailed his ass. Credit to BHO he had the nads to pull the trigger but again wiithout W's efforts there would have been no bullet in the gun.

They are???? Why aren't they heard doesn't the Dem party allow internal opposition? Oops I forgot they don't ask Bob Casey. Only when they were embarassed did they allow his son to speak 4 years later. Or is it that the press is in BHO's pocket and won't let a peep of opposition voices be heard?

I agree. All of this began under Bush's watch. Obama spoke out against it, then he got into office and CIA learned him a thing or two and he's over there raking the insurgents over the coals. I think that both presidents have similar policies as far as the insurgents go. I do not think that they have the same policies as far as boots-on-the-ground war goes.

I think we saw their different strategies with Sadam and Qaddaffi. Sadam should have been gotten rid of the same way that Qaddafi was overthrown. Under the guise of NATO and rebels. Not an all-out war that costs billion$ of dollars and thousands of US soldiers lives.

MARTIN! You funny m'fer! I think I sneaky like you, but I have a feeling you'll unlike yourself in your next post.......however I disagree on the Evangelical Christian thing. Without question these people are outside their minds batshit crazy, but I've yet to see them strap bombs to themselves, behead people, say they want to wipe countries off the map, fly airplanes into buildings or overrun some of our embassies.......maybe I've missed something.

Faith is faith. We are just lucky that evangelicals aren't interpreting the bible in a way that causes murders and shit right now. They certainly have in the past. And they brought the destruction. That's why faith is so dangerous, there are no rational rules.

And moderate believers are at fault as well for accepting that faith is acceptable. It's not. It's not an acceptable way to answer anything in the exact same sense that you cannot answer a math question with "I just believe it" . Truth is actual evidence based thing. To not understand that is dangerous.

When did Obama say that and what exactly did he say?

Examples? You make up a lot of stuff.

I remember people complaining that Bush attacked a country that had nothing to do with Al Qaeda or 9/11. Then he decided to occupy Iraq forever for no particularly good reason. I don't remember people complaining when he attacked Al Qaeda directly in Afghanistan. He was widely supported for that until he lost his friggin' mind and decided to invade Iraq and forget Al Qaeda.

Obama knows who the enemy is. Last week Romney said that the real enemy of America is Russia! The dumb-ass is stuck in the Cold War. He forgot Al Qaeda, he forgot China, and he forgot North Korea.
