Perhaps. I just cringe a bit when it seems like women want to be seen as powerful, but then become powerless at times in life when power is paramount. That may or may not be the case here.
This. Meyer is THE face of Ohio State. Nobody pictures Michael V. Drake when they think of tOSU. They see Urban Meyer. If he lies, the university is lying by extension.
Money and power combined are nearly insurmountable. When a wife/mother is physically beaten, it changes who they are. With a clearer head today, this woman sounds full of common sense and bent on holding people responsible. But under threats, duress, and being pummeled in front of her children, it's a different ballgame.
I'm not so sure about that one. He would have been violating Ohio State's policies on sexual misconduct if he knew and did not report. From their HR website: (all emphasis mine)
But is beating the hell out of your wife sexual misconduct? I guess if he cornholed her after, maybe he just rubbed one out over her battered body? Both impossible to prove at this point.
Yeah that is funny and all but really? I have not read a single thing about this entire deal and as far as I know the guy just beat her ass and while that is as wrong as two boys fucking it is not sexual assault! Just looking for clarification
