as much as people here think Urban Meyer is going to learn quickly things are much different in the SEC which he is already aware, many doubters will learn what a great coach he is in the process.

I hear ND only offered him 1 million. Florida offered him 2 million per year and get him.

Funny, ND lowballed him and lost. I guess they must have thought the prestige of the Notre Dame name was worth something these days. :hihi: :hihi:

Y'all underestimate Meyer; this makes FL much more difficult from now on.

Zook was just an average coach. Meyer has proven to be a great head coach at two different universities in two different conferences. Add to that, Florida's talent, which rivals almost any team in college football

1.2 mill. he wanted 6 recruits per year exempt so he could compete. they said no. they are brilliant. keep thinking irish catholic midwestern recruit will help you compete on a national level. good job.

Not saying Urbans a bad coach, but the days of the UF coach being the best coach in the SEC have been over for awhile.

Also lets see how he does recruiting and playing against LSU, UM, UGA, Auburn, FSU, UT, Spurrier at USC etc etc.....

ITs a Bit different then the MAC and Mountain west. I am not saying he not a good coach. But the SEC is very different when Spurrier was at UF.

Will UF be a more difficult opponenet ?? probably but LSU also has Nick Saban.. That my friend is an advantage I will take 6 days to Sunday

thats a very short list. they got their man. (minus SOS)

it doesn't matter who's coaching florida, it's always gonna be a tough game. btw - ron zook held his own pretty well against LSU in his career. LSU just needs to worry about itself.
