We don't have any way to know what has happened. It is a possible that the fame got to lee. It also is possible that jj coming in and taking reps from lee phucked him up in the head before bama even. It could be possible that after the bama game he just crashed. He couldve been thinking he could maybe get the same shot in the NFL like Flynn got after starting one year and leading lsu to a bcs championship. After jj came back and started taking over he couldve just melted.

This could all be just complete bs and is just rumors. No person outside of the team or maybe lees parents really knows for sure. It's all speculation.

For what it's worth, I saw Lee after the game and he seemed to be in good spirits. Not sure if it was just a show but he was glad to pose with me and the ole lady for a pic. Will always have repect for that guy no matter how this all plays out.

The Cat is out of the bag so lets talk about it - A Nuke bomb for post season !!!

Lee to be suspended for post season based on grades and team rules . It is being talking on the net and radio . Les didn't say no when asked.

It will be what it will be but if true the best QB on the team could be released to play early. Mett is said to have the best LSU QB arm since Bret Jones. If Mett steps into the JL shoes and takes the JL reps - oh my !!!

I am not starting anything just taking logic to the next level. NO JL means Mett is #2.

Nightmare for the Dawgs and Bama !!

    feel very bad for JL

    feel good for Mett !

The reason I started this thread is not about Lee not being on the team for post season but what it would mean to have Mett active and have a chance to take the field to bring it when it would mean something.

After Atlanta Les would have 4 weeks to put Mett into the game plan for Bama.

It is against state and federal student privacy law for university employees to discuss a students grades or academic status.

    Just to be clear...

When these same rumors surfaced 3 weeks ago, a lot of people here said they were bogus because Les always wanted to start his golden boy Jefferson and Lee had never had any prior problems.

Now that they're being recycled again, why exactly do they have more credibility now?

Whatever the problems and/or issues are, I hope he gets through it. As far as fans see, he has been a stand up guy – stayed with the program when many would have transferred. With the preseason team issues, he was an integral part of the team’s success this year.

I’m not saying the team couldn’t have done it without him, but it would have been much more of a struggle.

I like JL, think he has been a big part of LSU's success this year and hope it works out for him.
