Things arent that bad. Yall played the Colts...an emotional first game. The offense would be the least of my concerns. At least youre not a Dolphins fan...did I just say that? :bncry:
Why yes...yes I am. That was just ugly. After the 1st half I thought it was a game. Then all hell broke loose.
I can't say much about our free agent pick up Jason David. Although he did score their only TD, what'd he give up 3 or 4 to them? Might as well give the job back to Fred Thomas. He's bad, but David is awful.
The defensive backs were terrible. Why don't they hit the receiver at the line of scrimmage instead of just letting them go by? Harrison ran by those guys like they were school girls! Total embarrassment! Glad it's the beginning of the season!
ok, it was an embarassment. but to be fair, we are dealing with one the best quarterbacks of all time, running one of the most effective offenses ever, coming off a world championship.
Yeah, they signed one, Jason David. He's the one you saw Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne running by on their way to the end zone.
The Colts saw what the Bears did to the Saints last season. They gave them everything underneath (5, 6, 7 yards), nothing long and stopped the run. If those things happen against the Saints they are cooked. The Colts had their safeties way back so no deep balls. They stopped the run all night which took away any chance Brees had for play action......... Every team will now watch this film. The defense will get better....I mean they were playing the Colts here. I'm worried about the offense.
Well, that was a stinker. Our o-line didn't give Brees any time and receivers couldn't get open. On D, we need to find some other way of coverage patterns. Putting our corners out there one on one and they get burned.
