i second (or is that third now) the welcome. good to know the man knows good food. thats always a plus in my book.
Chavis gave Urban Meyer problems each season except for 2007. Note on the 2007 game: Time of Possession 34:50 - Florida O 25:10 - Tennessee O The Tenn D was on the field most of the game because the Tenn offense sucked: they turned it over 3 times and their running "attack" was completely stuffed (Florida held Tenn to 37 yards rushing -- 1.8 average). Total yards the Gators have been able to put up on their opponents under head coach Urban Meyer: 2008 705 - Citadel 519 - South Carolina 514 - Arkansas 502 - Florida State 475 - LSU 446 - Kentucky 443 - Ole Miss 422 - Vandy 406 - Hawaii 373 - Georgia 358 - Bama 345 - Miami 243 - Tennessee 2007 554 - Tennessee 541 - Florida State 537 - South Carolina 510 - WKU 507 - Ole Miss 501 - Florida Atlantic 500 - Troy 489 - Vandy 427 - Kentucky 399 - Michigan 343 - Georgia 314 - LSU 312 - Auburn 2006 637 - Central Florida 582 - West Carolina 514 - Kentucky 396 - Arkansas 401 - South Carolina 391 - Southern Miss 388 - Florida State 370 - Ohio State 330 - Vandy 330 - Bama 320 - Tennessee 319 - Georgia 288 - LSU 279 - Auburn 2005 537 - Kentucky 480 - Miss State 475 - La Tech 448 - Vandy 447 - Iowa 411 - Wyoming 359 - South Carolina 326 - Bama 284 - Florida State 261 - Georgia 247 - Tennessee 206 - LSU
Thanks for those stats John. I think people will soon realize how good Chavis is very early on. And Florida will be stifled in Death Valley in '09. Tebow, Harvin, who cares. It's payback time bitches.
Difficult thing to decipher the stats as that very much is dependant on the level of talent available to those teams as well as team maturity in those years; it would be interesting to see what Chavis can do with the level of talent available at LSU
