Re: DC Watch: John Chavis One thing to consider about Chavis, is that he was born and raised in South Carolina, so it wouldn't be that surprising if he wants to go to Clemson, a school in South Carolina.
Re: DC Watch: John Chavis What if grammar were a federal law, and caps etiquette on message boards carried the death penalty? Did ya ever think of that?
Re: DC Watch: John Chavis If adherence to English grammar were a federal law then the marketing geniuses for company's like Wendy's (Do what taste right) would surely be in trouble. Our nation's literacy deterioration amazes me (since you bring it up). (I hope this reply is all in proper English:lol:.)
Re: DC Watch: John Chavis You have to wonder about the fact that Chavis has not taken the job at Clemson. Clemson has absolutely no reason to hold off on announcing it if he did indeed take the job. If Chavis is still available come January 1, look for him to become LSU's next DC.
Re: DC Watch: John Chavis According to an article today from a newspaper in Clemson's neck of the woods (the Aiken Standard of Aiken, SC) John Chavis and Paul Rhoads appear to be the top candidates to become the new defensive coordinator at Clemson, according to Rivals.com. According to Rivals.com, LSU head coach Les Miles is likely to select a new defensive coordinator. Among the possible candidates are John Chavis, DeWayne Walker, Greg Robinson and Tyrone Nix. http://www.aikenstandard.com/localsports/1218rumor-mill
Re: DC Watch: John Chavis Best writeup so far on Chavis. Enjoy. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...helton-lsu-needs-a-volunteer-to-coach-defense
