At this point it appears to be Chavis IMO unless someone steps out of the shadows. I'd much much rather an aggressive in your face style D, but I'm not sold on Thompson or Nix. I wish some new names would surface.

Granted I don't know very much if anything at all about the national DC scene but it seems as if he may be one of the better guys remaining.

Trying to bring some peace to the thread. ;) FWIW I do believe that I guess that was the case last night.

He is a proven winner that knows the SEC, but soft defenses give me heart burn.

Statistically he usually does well. But at the same time it probably wont be extremely fun to watch his safeties play 25 yards off the line and Im not so sure people haven't figured him out. I would assume Les knows more than me though.

Please. You clearly are an idiot. He's proven nothing. He's a loser. He can't spell SEC. And his defenses aren't soft, they're LIMP!

(This IS the spout-off-with-no-real-knowledge-of what-is-going-on thread, correct?)

the feel I get--and this is based on absolutely no info- is that chavis isnt even in the picture at this point.

i hope im wrong because based on whats seemingly left, Im not sure theres anyone that excites me in the least.

chavis chance to be LSU DC: .01%

    rest of the field: 99.99%
