Wow, check out that stunning freshman list by LSU? One player, Jarrett Lee, and only because he was forced into action because of Perrilloux's dismissal.

Early PT at LSU. Does not happen under Miles. That needs to change.

That'll change imo as I think this is a quote used to attract high profile recruits coming in. Besides if a freshman is better than a senior in a certain spot, screw seniority, play the better guy if he gives a better chance to win.

Well i'm sure with all the gifts he threw the other teams, he might just be voted everyones MVP. He did set a national record in his half season of playing time.
Players that break or set records earn awards for those records.

So you have seen evidence in the 3 years that Miles has been here to justify your optimism?

Just looking at RB, TE, and WR alone:

2005, juniors Bowe and Davis beat out seniors Brazell and Green (both of whom were taken in the NFL draft)

2005 and 2006, fresh/soph Richard Dickson beat out juniors/seniors Keith Zinger and Mit Cole.

2006, freshman KW beat out senior Vincent and junior Broussard.

2006, junior Hester beat out senior Vincent.

2007 and 2008, freshman/sophomore Toliver beat out soph/juniors Chris Mitchell and Jared Mitchell.

So, are ya'll giving up on Chavis as DC? I still think he offers the most upside of the candidates that have been thread titles this week.

I'll be glad when this phase is over and we can get back to our usual rants.

I think with his SEC experience and UTs good defense considering what they had, he'd do great things at LSU. But imo the longer we wait to do anything these guys availability will dry up before we get a chance to find out.
