Re: DC Watch: John Chavis Chavis' defenses have been shown to be very aggressive when the personnel has been there to employ such a scheme (cover corners and edge rushers). Basically, when he has the people in place, he has blitzed, brought the safety up in the box to support the run, etc. He will do that here with cover corners Peterson, BTaylor, JJackson in the coming years. He's only gone to the 2 deep "soft" zone due to lack of talent at the CB position. And I cannot reiterate enough the fact that we will have our first legit LB coach in a long time. I just hope he can help recruit JJones and Telfort before it's too late.
