    Okay, don't be so defensive...

But Tennessee was ranked #70 in total defense in '07 (#69 rush defense, #73 pass defense) and #50 in total defense in '06 (#72 rush defense, #27 pass defense).

There's a good chance we get one of these years again, and I think some people are concerned. Don't get me wrong. I hope we get the stats of '08 and '05, but '07 and '06 are fresh in peoples' memory, which isn't encouraging.

Rumors are circulating that Chavis and Orgeron are under strong consideration and may be a done deal.

a rumor i'm in favor of but a rumor nonetheless. since chavis coaches from the booth, coach O can rip heads (and his own shirt) off on the sidelines. i would like the pairing. too bad it's probably not true.

I'm hoping he meant either\or. Would they really be dumb enough to go from Co-DC to Co-DC?

Well, you can't play tight-man coverage when you have slow and/or injured CB's like Tennessee has. It shows a coach who will fit his scheme to his personnel and not the other way around and that is the sign of a good coach. Outside of Eric Berry, their DB's are hardly even SEC-worthy.

Both? I can't see Orgeron leaving the NFL for a position job, much less for a team he's rumored to dislike immensely.

nah the rumor has chavis as the DC and coach O as the dline coach/associate head coach.

not going the co dc route again even if it were with belichik and saban.

Well that would certainly be great for LSU. However unlikely. Here's to hell freezing over though.

I strongly doubt that this will happen, but I would be all for it.

How did Miles pull that off, an HC from the NFL and our old coach.
