    I hope this is a bogus report. Chavis is certainly better than what we have now, but he's been at UT forever, and the Gators always destroy his defenses! :rolleye33:

    I'm hearing this more and more... very soft, read and react, huge cushions for WRs... this concerns me.

    Bad hire imo but better than what we have. I remember DJ Hall beating Tennessee by himself last year.

    Linebackers that are well coached (he the LB coach, afterall), very athletic and can play the run and the pass. That's comforting.

    Solid tackling techniques and assignment responsibility. That's comforting.

    If this is for sure, I'm at ease for a time, given what we've had. However, I'd like to see LSU return to the aggressive, go for the jugular, blitzing type of football.

    We'll see. It's probably a sure fix for the immediate future, but I'm not a fan of cover-2 and soft zone being the main scheme.
