Simple, USC is 1 and LSU is 2 in the human polls. The humans got it right, even though I personally would flip-flop the two teams. OU is out at #3. In the end, we didn't need the BCS if you look strictly at the human polls.
No, I'll never admit it. Why should I. OU might very well beat LSU, but it doesn't matter. You guys don't belong. End of story. There is nothing, I repeat NOTHING that will change my mind in that regard. And as for what JS said, I am free to disagree with him, too. I posted a poll on this forum last night. Almost everyone agrees that this should be USC-LSU in the sugar. All the national fan polls conform to the poll posted here. But it is what it is. We are playing you guys. I will be stoked for that game, but I don't have to like what is happening here. Look, there are two reasons I don't like this. First, it is bad for the game. It's going to turn a lot of fans off because most fans around the country believe that LSU and USC should be meeting and they are right. Second, we lost our opportunity, possibly, to win an outright championship. This blame falls squarely on the BCS even though I'd like to think that you guys could have stepped aside, but I know that is unrealistic.
Re: It should be OU! I agree.The BCS does not do a good job of taking into account conferences that play a Championship versus those that do not. Probably because only 2 out of the 6 conferences have one. Why else would they put in a rule that says you cannot get quality win points for beating the same team twice? Where else would this take place but in a conference championship game.
There are 3 teams that deserve to be in the Sugar Bowl. I'm thrilled that LSU is one of them that is going, but USC got the shaft, Oklahoma actually lost at the right time.

If LSU had gotten their ass whipped like OU got theirs whipped, I would not be on our next opponent's board trying to convince them how great my team is. OkieSooners needs to show a little humility. Oklahoma is a good team and worthy of our respect but KSU exposed their weaknesses and now they are just another one-loss team. A couple weeks ago, you could have pulled the high and mighty act but no more. This ain't Texas A&M and your guys had better hitch up their britches and get ready for a war.
BCS got it right, plain and simple. All the moaning and crying wont change anything. USC lost to the worst team out of all the teams with one loss, and to boot they had the EASIEST schedule. There is no other argument. OU had a MUCH tougher schedule. The humans are flawed, that is why we went to 7 computers. That is flawed too. Every year we will have to hear bitching and moaning until we make it some type of playoff system. I am for the top 4 duking it out, no more than that.
