What it boils down to is the finished project, and the coaches are responsible, just like they get credit when the team executes without mistakes.

I wonder what this place wouild be like if we had beaten Tenn and were 11-0? and headed to Pasadena? :dis:

I'm begining to think this is an Arkansas or Ole Miss or Miss St or Tennessee board.

Worse yet, I begin to wonder if Miles will get run out of town if we should fall to UGA. Ridiculous.

We'd be going to the Sugar Bowl anyway.. The Rose Bowl participants were pre-ordained by the pollsters. If they don't lose, they are in. Period.

I too worry about this. For if he losses in the post season, what he did in the regular season will mean nothing to many fans.

That wasn't the point...it's just for some reason most here seem unhappy with the results this season. I for one am thrilled where we are and where we are headed.

Its fairly obvious by reading the negative post around here that
most of you boys either never put on a football uniform or if you did
    you rode the PINE!
Get over it. The Hillbillies took Auburn, Carolina, Georgia and Bama to the wire. Not a single one of these games was in the books until the final drive.
Didnt Saban blow some games over the years? UAB, Arky in Little Rock twice(once on a hail mary), Iowa on a hail mary, blown out by Bama, Auburn Georgia and Florida(and I mean blown the F out).
Lets see what else can we compare?
I think I'll give this staff the rest of the year and next before I lay judment.
Oh yea and how about the Great Texas and USC--they sure had a few close games this year. Hell Texasss almost lost to a horrible eATMe team Friday.
So come on boys and girls. Ohhh I forgot, didnt Notre Dame just struggle beating a terrible Stanford team.
    Geaux Tigers!!!!

But you can only coach so far; it is still up to the players to execute.

Thank You AU for pointing out the stupidity of some of our fans...Those naysayers (USNavyTiger) please keep drinking the Kool-Aid then go stop on the Miss. River bridge and jump off.
Please stop the bitching and whining....LSU is 10-1 and #3 in the country and you're complaining? Go back in history and check how many times LSU has won 10 games in the regular season...I'll save you the time, only three previous times has LSU won 10 games in the regular season. But, yet you and other fans are complaining? LSU was ranked in the Top 5 in most preseason publications...guess what? The Tigers have finished the regular season at #3. Are you still pissed about the Tenn. game, which was like 10 week's ago...get over it. LSU wins and that's all that matters!
And, just for the sake of not letting facts get in the way of a good story...the Auburn kicker's miss in overtime would have tied the game, not won it.
