I believe that LSU will have to play as well as they are capable of playing to defeat the ASU Sun Devils

I believe that LSU will have to play as well as they are capable of playing to defeat the Florida Gators

I believe that LSU will have to play as well as they are capable of playing to defeat the Auburn Tigers

I believe that LSU will have to play as well as they are capable of playing to defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide

    Yawn...

The original post said nothing about Saban. The offense sucked last year as well. Two years ago, the offense wasn't the strong suit of our team, but it WAS solid. Saban sat on leads the same as Miles, we didn't like it then and we sure don't like it now. We left Arkansas in this game with the possibility of winning in the closing minutes. If we had lost this game would you be on Miles' case? You'd all be shouting for us to get off Mike Archer his first season as well. There is more to games than just winning. How you play the game is important, and we aren't much better, or at least more consistent, than we were at the begining of the season.

This thread didn't start out calling for Miles' head. This thread didn't start out summoning Saban back. This thread merely pointed out the offense is unacceptable. You're satisified?

Hell yes I blamed Saban. Our offense was strong two years under Saban. That means more than half the time his offenses were below average. The thing about it, we started good, great, down, great, down. Even in our down years we did fairly well record-wise because our talent allowed us to hang. Last year was a down year, and though this year is fairly good, we've not been playing dominantly at any point. This is our second non-dominant year in a row. Of course, I think most of us who feel a little unsatisfied are willing to take a wait-and-see attitude because this is Miles' first year and we were hit by bad ass hurricanes that really disrupted our season.

But any unbiased observer can see that we aren't playing on the level of most of the top teams in the nation week-in and week-out. Our offense needs an overhaul.

It's awesome that we've been able to overcome the lack of offensive production and win 10 games. Luckily the entire SEC is in rebuilding mode.

I believe LSU can hang with any team in the country, but the flip side of that coin is that most teams can hang with LSU. The Pac10 gets ragged for playing no defense, even though their top team and the top team in the nation has dominating wins under their belt. LSU deserves to get ragged for having no offense and struggling against a PAC10 team that's had a doo doo season.

I think some of you forget which conference we play in. THE ONE WITH THE BEST DEFENSIVE TALENT IN THE COUNTRY. This is the way I see things.

Offense starts at the Qb plsition. JR is getting better at checking down and making reads. He could not do that at the begining of the year. He still needs to work on accuracy but is getting better. Remember JR is just a soph QB.

LSU has played ten games without a break. This makes what has been a long season even longer. I think this team may have mentally taken a break because they were playing Ark. You know that this team could use some down time and I think maybe they took some in this game

The recievers must catch the ball, when it is thrown to them. How many times this year has the recievers dropped passes that would have kept drives going. I counted six friday.

I believe this team will show up to play next week. Georgia is not as talented as we are. Remeber we showed up to play AU, Florida and Ala. LIke it or not we beat them, all of them. It may not have been pretty but we did it.

I think we need to give Les till next year which we all hope will be more of a normal season. Wait till next year before we allow the sky to fall in. Wait till we actually loose some games before jumping off the ship.

Tiger nation enjoy what could very well be a 13-1 season. I can remember when we would have killed for that and now that we may have it some of you think its not good enough.

    SAD

I agree with what you've said, its a good point to throw in that we've played almost all season without a break. You'd think the national media would give us more credit for all of that.

Our wide receivers are killing us this year. Not having Broussard and playing with Addai hobbled also hurts. JaMarcus has plenty of room for improvement as well. I've also been disgusted with our play calling fairly often, we have a handfull of plays we use far too often. Not often enough do we call middle range, 5-15 yard passes, put that half on Fisher, 5/16 on receivers, and 3/16 on Russell.

You just proved why you don't coach football. Jimbo didn't do all the mistakes on the field, but he coaches the players that did. No discipline and too conservative. Tell Ang hi for me.

I just finished watching the replay for the second time. I didn't see any offensive coaches drop passes. I didn't see any offensive coaches miss blocks. I didn't see any offensive coaches throw floaters that I could have intercepted. I don't care what the game plan is or isn't. It boils down to execution and we didn't execute very well.
