I think you guys and your players are being ridiculous about all this.

If an Ole Miss player called someone a racially insensitive name, then that is unfortunate. But, Oxford is not the only place in America where racism exists. I've experienced enough racism in Louisiana as I have in Mississippi.

Why do any of you people think so many white folks live on the NorthShore nowadays compared to Metairie or Kenner? Why don't white folks continue to live in Mid-City, or the Garden Dist? Because they are racists and they don't want to live anywhere where there are....minorities!

Why do you people think so many white folks like soccer? Because few minorities play soccer (in the States) these days!

There's alot of racism in this country and if that bothers you all, then I don't think much can be done about it.

if you make fun of my irish heritage, i dont get mad, i like it. it amuses me that irish are drunks. i'm not a drunk myself, but thats the point, understand?

some people are rational enough that you can make fun of their group and they dont go ballistic. some people arent knee-jerk liberal pc morons who give get angry at name-calling.

sounds to me like you have been convinced that everyone is oversensitive. you actually agree with policies like the NHL's that you can beat a guy's face, and get 2 minutes in the penalty box, but call him a word and you get suspended.

you have been brainwashed. words are words. political correctness is stupid. trash talk is part of sports. if i was an athlete and my teammates were dropping n-bombs on the opponents and it made then get angry and ineffective or penalized, i would love it.
