Looks like Sapling is sabre-rattling again with NO EVIDENCE and NO SUPPORT. Of course, he did get the right to use Turkey's airbases IF 1) the UN authorizes war against Iraq (not much chance of that) and 2) the US continues to work to get it more money from the IMF. Boy, remember when people were calling the Taliban and al Qaeda "mercenaries". Hmmm, looks like Turkey's loyalty depends on the greasing of their palms through the International Monetary Fund. Isn't it absolutely incredible how they are not criticized for extortion in making their policies, and the US can attack anybody they want to anytime, anywhere, anyhow, and those attacks aren't called "terrorist attacks". Talk about "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." Sapling makes UNSUBSTANTIATED allegation after UNSUBSTANTIATED allegation and he ACTUALLY has the gall to try to claim he is defending freedom. Perhaps, he needs to review what international law is, what freedom is, and what quid pro quo is.

Exactly right, and the videos about prisoner treatment were ridiculous

OK, let's grab some video of how people in custody in the Phillipines are treated. Let's show hands being cut off in Saudi Arabia for shoplifting. The bottom line is the US and Britain are showing the rest of the world what TRUE HYPOCRISY is. Saudi Arabia has been proven to have ties to the terrorists that instigated the Sept 11th attacks, and NOTHING has been threatened against them. And while mercenaries are alleged by the US government (no proof was ever given about that either BTW) as far as the Taliban goes, BTW they were paid but so are US soldiers so BIG DEAL, it is laughable when US access to airbases comes down to guarantee of money to allies. Hmmmm, sounds like a MERCENARY GOVERNMENT to me. Now, Sapling has allowed attacks on SUSPECTED terrorist targets even if Americans may be killed in the process. The bottom line is Sapling has turned the CIA once again into a terrorist organization just like they were in South America, Southeast Asia, and the middle East before they were reigned in due to their excesses and violation of international laws as far as trying to overthrown governments and keeping dictators in power.
