Like others, I picked 8-3 with a win in the bowl game. I knew QB and secondary would struggle, so I'm not melting down (yet) like others. Very disappointed in the play of the D-line and in the fact that no leaders seem to have emerged. Never underestimate how big of an impact that had on a team. That said, we HAVE to put it all together for at least 2 games and beat BAMA and Ole Miss. I may not be as forgiving if we can't get past both of them; especially since they're both in Tiger Stadium.
I agree with what we have going in this thread. Let's all remember what we accomplished last year.... We won a lot of close games, won the NC and SEC Championships. Afterwards, we lost a ton of seniors on offense, defense and our punter. We even lost our Defensive Coordinator. In the off-season we lost Perrilloux (or however you chose to view it) who would have been our starting QB for the next 2 years. Now its 2008 and we have 2 new Co-Defensive Coordinators, 2 QB's that would be back-ups at any other SEC school sharing the 1st team duties, youth and inexperience at LB and DB, and we're still 5-2. We're going to be alright folks. No need to panic. I trust that Miles will make some adjustments. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
