LSU has been in the SEC championship game 2 of the last 3 years, and was nearly there is 2002 except for a last minute brain fart against Ark.

The SEC used to be Bama v. Florida or Tennessee, and now it is LSU v. UGA bascially.

The SEC losers have not changed but the middle of the road teams are now becoming the leaders in recruiting which hurts your precious Elephants.

Bama has lost to much glory to again become a dominant force in the SEC you will now join USC as a good team that does well but always ends up in the Outback or Peach Bowl.

If you were to rise again in the SEC, I'm sure the NCAA will be looking at your program under a microscope and you will again be penalized for paying highschool coaches for players etc...

Bama comeback to glory is an unattainable dream IMO, and I think you guys should settle in to your 6th place in the SEC spot, you'll be there for awhile.
