Just think, all of the sudden you guys are only 5 rings behind us! And in SEC championships, tack on 4 more for LSU as well, as that would put you at 16 conference titles. LSU only has 2 recognized national titles, and 3 more from the 30's. LSU has 9 SEC championships LSU is no where close to rivaling Alabama accomplishments from the past... but with the recruiting and coaching staff, I see LSU as a perinial power in the SEC for years to come. I was a little frightened of this game when Croyle was healthy, that kid took some beatings last year and kept getting up, and I have a lot of respect for him, but Bama without Croyle = no chance. Our offense isnt as bad as many make it out to be, inconsistent sometimes, but not bad. When LSU is on, there is no stopping us, I think JeMarcus will have his coming out game on Saturday, and make swiss cheese of Bama vaunted Defense. Even though Bama is a nationally recognized program, the only headlines you guys make now is when you eek out a win against Miss St. or your head coach charges a lap dance to UA.

You fellas obviously don't know how easy it is to crash. In 1999, we had Shaun Alexander & Chris Samuels. We had beaten Florida in the Swamp, breaking a 30+ game win streak and later went on to crush them in the SECCG 34-7. We were ranked #3 going into the 2000 season, but we forgot one thing... we were not invincible and UCLA quickly tapped our ass in the first game of the year. Then it all fell down. My point? LSU was 3-8 that year and got spanked by Houston in your precious Death Valley. 4 years later, they are holding the NC trophy. We are on probation, we recognize that and if you ask me I think we have come through it pretty well. No, there has been no "change of guard" in the SEC West. There has been no change of guard in the SEC East either. Give it 5 years and it will be back to Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida owning the rest. This is the same Bama team that lost to USC 20-3, as well as Bama has done this season, I dont think this game will be nearly as close as people think. The only game I am worried about is MattJones... not the Arkansas game, just that damn guy.
