Ask a kid to play with fire in his belly and get pissy when you see some smoke...

I really wish we could get over ourselves and quit being quite so sanctimonious. It's a game; it's supposed to be fun and rowdy. It isn't golf.

I wish he didn't jaw so much, but I thought he was well behaved. Marquise Maze was the one who didn't know how to shut his mouth. And that play wasn't a cheap shot, if he was trying to block the dude and got tangled up. Gary Danielson has been trying to start sh!t like that all year.

But the LSU team ended the game with grace and good sportsmanship, being very complimentary of Alabama. The Gumps gave LSU no credit and continued to crow that they were without doubt superior to the team that just beat them. That attitude is reflective of the head coach.

It was a foolish decision, and cost us a big chunk of yards.

It was far from a cheap shot, and quit honestly I'm not sure how Kirkpatrick was so shaken up. I guess from his head hitting the ground. Oh well, that's football.

As for the smack talking Kirkpatrick was just as guilty of it, both guys were jaw jacking with each other the entire night.

not to mention it seemed like everyone blamed the kicker. How is it the kicker's fault that he didn't make field goals that are out of his range?

Without a doubt! Well said. Saban has absolutely no class in him, NONE! His post game interview was we didn't do this, we didn't do that. Not ONCE did he recognize how solid we played. Glad he is wearing crimson and not purple and gold, he is a POS.

Bama fans by me were blaming Saban. Said the kicker shouldn't have been on the field.

Right. Everything was about THEIR lack of execution. No mention of the fact that our defense was the cause of that lack of execution. Or that we held their vaunted rushing attack to under 100 yards. Could that have played into it at all? Their arrogance is nauseating.

Stacey, Mathieu was head hunting...if you look at the film, it happened way, away from the play.

Mathieu didn't even have to touch that guy.

And....if you look at the film, you'll even see the LSU players giving him grief about it. That play was selfish...and it was just as selfish as the decision to use fake, synthetic weed because he thought he could get away with it.

Classless !! I call 'em like I see 'em...and yes, I generally love his aggressiveness and enthusiasm too.
