    Herb Vincent should have been the AD. He's smart and knows everything about the Athletic department and is the only LSU official who actually responds to email.

    I think the statement above from Herb is very telling. I just hope the Stoney Badger can regain his tenacity after sitting out for a year.

    You think so? I sent him an email this morning congratulating him on an excellent letter and got a short response a few minutes later that looked like a "canned" response a secretary would type.

    Well, he's always answered mine, in fact he was always the one who answered when I emailed Skip. I suppose now that he's associate AD he may have a secretary that screens his email. Perhaps Alleva has him on a shorter leash than Skip did.

    He's always answered mine as well. Although it's probably been a couple of years since I've emailed him prior to yesterday.

    And it would be surprising if Alleva had him on a short leash. :)

    If Mathieu gets past his issues and successfully returns to the team in the spring, his return could help sway some juniors from leaving early... we'd be a favorite for another NC run in '13.

    Got to believe he is working hard on damage control. With substance abuse following him about, this seems almost mandatory if he is considering trying to make an NFL roster next season.
