I absolutely stand by my post.

Here it is again. Tyrann "The Honey Badger" Mathieu will never play another down for LSU Football again. Ever.

Heard this from Hannigriff and Ott today about TM:

Never missed or late for a meeting or practice.
Never has had any grade issues.

    One of Miles's favorite players.

I think if Tyran wants another chance, Les gives it to him. Sitting out a full year and missing out on a chance to play on a team contending for a NC is a pretty hefty price to pay for a bad decision.

You are probably 100% correct with TM never playing at LSU again. However, what if he makes a deal with the administration/athletic director/coach to enter into a program, get help, and what if it actually works, and he is put back on the team? What if he pays his way, gets back on the team, gets clean and finishes his Senior season? Would that not be a HUGE success story? Would that not be how LSU wants to help kids get past life's deamons? At the core of ALL college sports programs is one thing: not to get a kid to the NFL, but to help them get a degree and become productive citizens in our country. Could be a huge success story........................ but I asume that TM is done at LSU and will need to seek help on his own and finish out his playing days with whover will have him.

I see what you are saying, but wouldn't it just be easier to go force a bunch of fumbles at McNeese State and then enter the draft?

The path of least resistance will be taken.

That's why I think it's a long shot. However, wouldn't it be better for him to sit a year and play at LSU? Much more exposure means much more moola in the form of a signing bonus, etc.

This path would also entertain me the most this year.

I don't think there's any chance for him playing at LSU. Coach Miles said it was permanent and he would not be back at the press conference.

Badger craves the spotlight and seems to perform better under it. There will be no spotlights at McNeese.
