I suspect it was something more than weed, which is easy as pie to stop using. Coke or narcotic pain killers are very dificult to stop using.

    Stop derailing threads, hippie.

In the 70's I looked like Ian Anderson and today I look like . . . The Most Interesting Man In The World.

I wish I could but the ones who told me wouldn't be too happy with me and I wouldn't get the info. No thanks... I drop hints that most get most of the time.

To recap: There is no rule in the handbook that requires dismissal after 3 failed test. He failed more so there is a problem there that Miles couldn't fix and as Miles said needs to be addressed.

I respect your loyalty. With that being said you said that if he failed a drug test more then 3 times he would have been suspended for a year, per the handbook. That never happened. We know it is not grades because Miles said he could still stay at LSU.

Can someone decode Bhelm for me? Thanks!

I think he's saying that there were more than three failed drug tests and some other team rules that were broken. (Curfew, missed meetings, workout goals, stuff like that for example).

But bottom line probably is....he messed up in more ways than one multiple times in some serious ways.

Thanks, Steve, I just don't get the more then 3 failed drugs test cause he would have to sit out a year and that didn't happen.

this is the part I am not understanding...
There is a misconception out there that 3 failed drug test equals automatic dismissal. The student athlete handbook says different and the max penalty is 1 year suspension. (Well I can't say max because Miles could kick someone off for 1 failed drug test if he sees fit.)

There's a difference between NCAA administered drug tests and LSU ones. I think LSU can test as often as they want to and not have to report it to the NCAA. I think LSU does the drug testing so that they can identify who's possibly a problem and try to correct it...before they flunk an NCAA one.

Let me give you the cliff notes: They cover up shit all the time.

TM7's problem is so bad they can't take care of it in-house so he's getting the boot cause it's cancerous to the team.
