You know, after reading all about the "support" and "honor" and the lets do this for tm7 crap; makes me wonder where were all these people when he was filling the bowl or the bong or whatever? Why didn't anyone jerk a knot in his ass and say "slow your roll bro, the team needs you"?

Time to put the whole "DBU" claim to the test.

While I'm disappointed to lose TM, may I say this: "Oh my, now we only have 3 pre-season All Americans on our defense. Whatever will we do?"

Well, there were warning signs...Mathieu AND Simon both suspended for last year's Auburn game. And usually, coaches have a pretty good idea who is going to leave. I'm not sure about David Jenkins since he was the 4th overall CB on the depth chart but Vinson and Gibson were secondary guys who simply hadn't seen the field much. Also, LSU is pretty lucky schedule wise this season...no OOC passing threat to speak of (had 2 last season) and really only Arkansas this season unless Florida discovers a QB (didn't have one last year). South Carolina is going to run...Alabama is going to run....Auburn is going to try to run...same with A&M, Miiss State, and Ole Miss. Not only is LSU's schedule way down in quality from last season but I don't see a lot of O'Brien candidates in the QB they play.

If it was more then 3 failed drug test this makes Miles look really bad. You know that, right?

Depends on the timing....say the 3rd one happened one day and because that was such a crucial one, they wanted to confirm the results with a 4th one 2 days later or something. Actually what I'm much more curious about was when the first 2 occured. I assume one of the first two was before the Auburn game last year but when did the other one occur?

Not really once the whole story comes out. You will see that Miles went beyond the call of duty to try to get him right and not just for football.

Exactly, if anything it gives him credibility and respect. I mean who kicks one of the best, if not THE best defensive player in CFB off the team? Only so much you can take. As others have said, pretty sure he would still be on at bama, usc, ohio state to name a few.

And isn't it common practice not to make public until it is the 3rd, anyway? Not saying 3 should be the lucky number but if it's protocol, no knock on Miles either way.
