It's nice to see an LSU alum get a job with us. And, pardon me if this is a stupid question, if Crowton is getting no input on these hires, is it still possible that Miles is replacing him, too?
Everything I have heard is that we now know what the staff will look like next year unless someone comes to take away from us. There will not be any more leaving this staff because they aren't cutting it currently.
The last 2 seasons Miles has made some pretty huge hires.. Cooper, Tolbert, Wilson, Chavis.. I wonder who he grabs for offensive coordinator? Kraghtorpes name has been thrown around a bit.
Which this would follow Miles mo most of the time. Opening the way to he maybe assisting Crowton in finding a new job.
Just wanted to add he was the recruiting coordinator under Zook at UF when they brought in the #1 recruiting class. Chris Leak was the top prospect in that class. He will help recruiting in Texas and Florida and will benefit our efforts in recruiting TE and WRs from all over the country with his coaching experience.
I know TD has a rep, but they also have a solid source about these things. Dude called Tolbert as 'hired' last weekend and has insisted that Crowton is probably out. He's got an unbeatable track record as an inside source, so...and given the news that Crowton's had no input on these hires...well, one can hope.
I wonder if the part about Crowton's lack of input is indicative of something else going on? In any case it seems like Miles made 2 really good hires.
