Let's not sell Petersen short. I think he is one of the top 3 best college football coaches out there. His recruiting classes are on the level of Vanderbilt and Kentucky. He has beaten several BCS teams in this 6 year run. I think they would be prepared to play LSU, but when they finally get punched in the mouth, that entire plan is out the window. I think it would end up something like 38-23 LSU.
I love how they refer to boise state's teams from years back. They beat oklahoma in 07. They beat oregon in 09. We completely shut down oregon this year, and beat oklahoma in 03 if we're throwing in teams of old. Stanford struggled with a USC team that is far less talented. Their athletes couldn't keep up with USC's and USc's d line got intense pressure on luck. Now imagine LSU's dline against stanfords o line. We'd be in the backfield the entire game.
