Dayum! I wish I woulda seen that! I quit watching after all the delays for that Fugging pothole. Junebug sure showed he still has the moves. The prodigal son is back and he will be a force to be reckoned with. Somebody just needs to kick his ass enough so he developes his daddy's mean streak. BOOGEDY, BOOGEDY BOOGEDY! LETS GO RACIN' BOYS! It looks like a great season coming up with the new rule changes. Here is (as Paul Harvey used to say) The Rest of The Story http://www.nascar.com/2010/news/opinion/02/14/inside.line.dcaraviello.88.saves.500/index.html
Curious just how well the two rides from Earnhardt/ Ganassi are gonna do on this very boring Fontana track. They qualified well and practiced just as well. Daytona can be a fluke but the beginning of the cookie cutter circuit is a whole different animal and yet those two stole the front row. I guess the finish will define their start. Matt Kenseth let his CC geaux after last week. Todd Parrot is now on top of the box and that right there is gonna have something to say. I see the 17 becoming dominant as the season rolls on. Hope the rain holds...
kenseth finished 7th and the rain held. barely, but it held. i didnt see all of the race, but what i saw, nothing really exciting.
Great comeback finish. He was down to 30th there with 80something to geaux. Cause of the rain, I took the day off and watched this race for the first time in a few and I gotta say not a bad show for what is expected. Them front rowers didn't finish all that well but for a blown engine and a half pack run, coulda been worse. Childress got themselves some hot rods though. All finished in the top ten but really, Harvick and Burton both had penalties and Bowyer with some bad luck in the pits. They looked great. Load of bow-ties in the top ten where Roush and them Fords usually take this one to the shed. Jr. :dis: Scott Speed, Wow. Sliced bread, getting his thing figured out. That kid is coming.
i knew he was down, but i didnt realize that far. he was running in the top 10 early on for quite a while then i had to leave the computer and tv. i dont remember where he was when i checked in, but it wasnt good. when i came back for the end of the race he was climbing again, so i was pretty happy with his finish.
Ok, I'm not a JJ hater. Actually I have mad respect for Chad Knaus. But I'm really getting tired of JJ winning. Perhaps NASCAR needs to handicap him, like making him race with 3 wheels.
Jr. unloads fast with only 8 laps. Qualifying trim. Jr. gets him a pole. Neat Jr. practices 7th yet he has 2nd average time. What was that? Jr. happy hour 2nd fastest with the fastest average time. Well damn! Can Jr. put a whole race together? Lookin like lightning... DOTB???
