Almost everybody knew. His ability to read defenses is what sets him apart. I recall that his biggest criticism was that his hand was too small for an NFL football. How did THAT turn out?
It seems that the TV announcers are are gaga over Justin Hebert and kind of overlook Burrow. Do you know how his #s stack up against Joe’s for 16 games.
I think his ceiling is unlimited. His attitude, work ethic, and competitiveness compare favorably to Payton, Drew, and Brady. If he stays healthy his career he could be the equal of any of them.
Good Point!! Has to be surrounded by talent led by good coaching under a smart owner. Much like Drew and Brady and to a lesser extent Payton enjoyed. And a little luck every now and then.
The PFF data is a paid service, so I can't look it up. Herbert is pretty good, too, though. They are pretty close in most stats.
