Disney World's turkey legs are very tasty. That's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of turkey legs.
The lines for the Turkey legs were 20 deep and they would sell out. and you had to wait for another batch.
Brown them and then braise them in beer, chicken stock and tomato pastes. Add whatever seasonings, onions etc. you like. Low and slow on the stove for about three hours, the meat will be falling off of the bone :thumb:
I forgot about this thread...so I want to reiterate the importance of human dignity and the real message of the I have a dream speech. It is the greatest speech of my entire lifetime...the true Christian values of Charity and Hope are presented in the context of social injustice. This really affected me as a youth and made the Beatitudes of the sermon on the mount very real to me. Christ first proclaimed the Kingdom of Heaven back then and Dr. King reiterated Christ's message in modern times. The Christian life should focus on that Kingdom and not the earthly BS. The message of Christ and Dr. King is not to the persecuted, the poor and the oppressed to accept earthly injustice and wait for yoiur spiritual rewards as much as it's a message to the oppressors to change and convert in order that God's will be fulfilled here on earth. I cooked those stereotypical dinners in order to enlighten my friends about the real importance and significance of that speech...and I feel compelled to post this so that you, my new friends, also have a new perspective. I hope none of you get the wrong impression about those dinners...I'm not sure if I madce that clear earlier.
Someone did a great thing in marketing something as useless as a turkey leg. It's like brisket, people used to toss it, now it's something in relative high demand. I refuse to walk around in public eating a turkey leg and looking like a cave man. arrg.
