Tulane or not, as a fan of the college game it really upsets me when I see an umpire absolutely blow a call at home plate in a super regional after a 19 year old kid had the nuts to lay it all on the line from second base to home - head first, face in the dirt and SAFE - in a sport and a situation where the tie goes to the runner, that was one of the worst calls I've seen on any level in a long time. It was a bad call and the fact that it was Tulane doesn't change the fact that the call changed the game - it was an AWFUL call...

I am all in favor of fair play and good officiating and never want to see officials control the outcome of a game, however I don't feel sorry for toolame. :nope: :nope: :nope:

they were screwed on about 5 close calls....even though I hate them I think the calls were wrong. It was really bad. The one at firstbase late in the game, the Greenie was obviously safe when the 1st base coach was tossed.

At leas t 5 of the calls were wrong, those guys just flat out blew them and they easy calls to make IMO, especially the one at home and the one Tirk referred to at first base.

No, he got it right, if you run inside the baseline the ump can call you out.
