If it ain't on Saturday and it ain't on campus, it ain't college football. Still ... it's better than anything else on TV.
Much better than watching some guys and gals eat purified snail nuts, squid eyes and bull dingle-berries all just to get to the next thing that is intended to scare the shit out of you.
You can take all of that other BCS crap and delete it from the Forum. That statement right there says it all.
Out of hand? Are you kidding? This is great! However, the reason for these weeknight games is driven by the gambling industry. There is significantly more action on a game, when it is the only game of the night. Its all about the $$$$$$$
What week are these midweek games considered to be in? Do these teams have to play another game this Saturday? That must be hell on the coaching staff and the players.
They count for this weekend coming up. And Bowling Green, TCU, Miami (OH), and Louisville are all coming off of bye weeks.
I agree its all about the money, but I have a hard time believing Vegas is the driving force. What I have always heard is that these teams play during the week for the TV exposure and the money that brings. There are too many big market TV teams that get priority on Saturdays, so these schools like Miami, BGSU, TCU, and Louisville benefit big time from getting televised when they otherwise wouldnt.
