Yes it is. Most people talk about how we have more talent than anybody else, but when CLM decides to use that talent to win close games they cry about it and second guess him. But when he loses it's because he didn't use his talent.:rolleye33:
I dont agree with that, we made Saban the highest paid coach in college football until he decided to bolt for the palm trees. LSU will pay for quality. I assure you if a premier coach said "I want to come to LSU and be the highest paid coach in football" LSU would do it. Or at least say "Sure when you win a championship we will pay you that kind of scratch" If (Big if) Miles wins the SEC and possibly the National Title, and IF Michigan offers him big cash. LSU will counter. I could be wrong but it happened once before i dont see why it wouldnt happen again.
I agree. But, if he did become the shepherd of the sheeplovers, what coaches in the Big 12 would you place above him ? Stoops ? Brown ? Mangino ? Ears would be one of the top coaches in the league. Still can't see him doing it.
Stoops and Brown both have national titles, and they rule recruiting. A&M is a 2nd tier football school in the Big 12. I know those buffons refuse to realize that. But it is a fact, they are no different than Ok. State. Sure they can win a few game, suprise someone from time to time. But for the most part they are "The other school in Texas" and OU out recruits them year in and year out as does the Bong Horns.
Yes, Saban was the highest paid coach after the MNC. Tubs doesn't have a MNC so he'll probably only get CLM money at best. AtM could afford to give him current day Saban money if they really want him. And LSU has never went after a proven coach that wants the big money to start. We hire that middle tier BCS coach that is looking for an opportunity. I don't see why that would change.
