The best "lobbying" Tubby could have done would have been winning his last three games by more than a combined 18 points. That's a fact.
One for the archives... If anybody's gotta sit up and beg like a dog for a biscuit on national TV, well, couldn't happen to a more deserving ratbastid. :yelwink2:
Well, that's a little out of line, don't you think? Hate on AU and CTT all you like, but it's a bit low to comment on the appearance of a little kid. :dis:
Yeh keep the kids out of it. Sort of like Mafia back in the La Cosa Nostra days. Families are off limits.... Or we will have to whip an ole number 6er on ya....
Tubby's oldest boy, Thomas Tucker, age 10 , is now so ashamed and hurt by those comments and refuses to go out in public anymore.
I think it's fine for you to bash CTT and poke fun at his ears because he has made himself a public figure. I think it's a bit small of you to demean a child who has not made that choice for himself.
I don't think they should. I think they should get #2. A 3-pt win against a 2-loss team that ended up being much closer than expected? No way. 13-0 is awesome, I'd take that in a heartbeat. But no split. Had they won 16-0 and preserved the shutout, it would have made a more compelling story. In the end, they finished with an underwhelming victory. I know Auburn fan will disagree, and I respect that, but this is how almost everyone in the country, other than Auburn, will see it. I supported Auburn in the quest to get into the BCSCG, but I don't support their appeal for #1 at this point. Of course, my opinion could change based on the outcome of tonight's game, but don't plan on it.
