I can't stand Lou Holtz on ESPN, I have to turn the set down everytime he's on.

Playoff system? Hell, we can't even agree on a 12th team so we can have a Big Ten championship game.

Sell it, Tommy... you da man...

As far as I can remember, his comments were very tame. He didn't go head hunting like he did in this interview, apparently.

I think I'd remember Tubberville if he called out ESPN and other outlets by name like that on national television.

The same point was made then and now...the system sucks and we deserve better.

All the "headhunting" talk was to basically say "talk is cheap, let's play it on the field already." Again, same message as before.

First, get a clue, I was applauding Tubby for his comments in this article. Last year before the Sugar Bowl, I was practically begging him to go off on the BCS. Look up my old post and you'll see. He did not take advantage of the opportunity he had to cause more of a stink about the situation. I am glad that he is speaking up now.

Why do I care? I care because I think you guys could have beaten USuCk last year or at least made a game of it. I also knew that what happened to you could just as easily happen to us.

Jeez, you try to be nice to some people and..............

Tubby is just a rogue jackass ... he'll pop off when least expected. Too bad he never learned to keep his mouth shut after a big loss, and there'll be a lot of flap over his latest comments. I look for the ESPN poll to lose Auburn. As for the ESPN crew ... ha! They'll restate the obvious when discussing Auburn ... two losses and AU is out of it, and summarily dismiss Auburn from the SEC picture. And they'll announce it with all the smugness they can muster, if they even mention Auburn's name at all.

The initial ESPN response should be interesting.

So then you obviously agree with his assessment of ESPN's power....:)

I think USC would have taken AU out to the woodshed and back last year, no contest.
